Resource Ministry Team
Mission Statement
All members of the Resources Ministry Team are responding to the call to address issues relative to the resources at St. Luke Union Church. Our resources include people, physical facilities and monetary assets. We are responsible to God and to all members of the church, for maintaining our church’s resources. We recognize that these include the gifts and talents of the church staff as well as those of all members of the congregation. Our responsibilities include financial planning and management, facilities management, and personnel. We help provide resources to support other ministry teams.
The Resource Ministry team is responsible for the fiscal and physical church. This includes anything to do with building and grounds, budgeting, and fund raising. It also deals with issues concerning non-ordained personnel such as job descriptions, evaluations and budget planning for salaries.
Our task forces include Recycling, Building & Grounds, Organ, Long Range Planning, Stewardship, Personnel, Technology and Capital Funds. Other task forces are formed for projects as needed. |
